Salmon is such a great fish, that sometimes it can be too easy to fallback onto tried and true preparations. While grilled or seared salmon is absolutely delicious, sometimes adding a few other simple flavors can really help to highlight the natural flavors of the fish.
In this case, we're using horseradish, dill, and creme fraiche, all of which go naturally well with salmon, to help add a little added emphasis to the fish. The horseradish adds a little sublte heat, while the dill and the creme fraiche add an acidity and a herbaciousness which helps bring together all of the flavors.
This dish is so simple, that after you make it once, you'll definitely end up adding it to your salmon prep repitoire!
